The principle
One notification per event, never a daily nag. The same information is never sent twice.
App or e-mail
Each type is set separately on both channels. Signed quotes and payments deserve both; the rest rarely does.
Morning briefing
At 8 am, only if there's something new: an appointment today, a payment delay that moved. Nothing new, no notification.
