Terms of use
The rules for using the service, and who answers for what.
Last updated: August 2026. The French version prevails; this translation is provided for convenience and has no contractual value.
1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of the Nexap app and website, a management tool for building-trade professionals: quotes, invoices, credit notes, deposits, jobs, catalogue, suppliers, profitability, electronic signature and e-invoicing, AI assistant. By using Nexap, you accept these terms.
2. Who may use it
Nexap is intended for professionals acting in the course of their business. The user must be of age and have the legal capacity to bind their business.
3. Account
Access requires an account. Login is by one-time code sent to your e-mail address: keep that mailbox safe, it holds the key. Any activity from your account is your responsibility.
4. What you may and may not do
Nexap is reserved for professional and lawful use. The following are prohibited:
- attempting to compromise the security of the service or to access another account's data;
- automating calls to the service in order to exhaust its resources;
- issuing fraudulent documents from Nexap, or using it for unlawful activity;
- reselling access to the service or reproducing it.
5. Your data and your documents
You remain the owner of the data and documents you create. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information entered and of the documents you issue: amounts, VAT rates, mandatory wording on quotes and invoices, accounting and tax compliance.
You can export a full archive and delete your account at any time from within the app. See the privacy policy.
6. Your clients' data
When you record your clients in Nexap, you are the data controller towards them, and Nexap acts as a processor on your behalf, within the meaning of Article 28 of the GDPR. It is for you to inform your clients and to have a legal basis for processing their data. Nexap undertakes to process that data only to provide you with the service, to secure it, and never to use it for its own purposes.
7. AI assistant — important notice
The assistant (Nexa), voice dictation and automatically generated documents constitute an aid. Amounts, calculations and texts produced are indicative and must be checked before any dispatch to a client or accounting or tax use.
The publisher cannot be held liable for errors contained in documents you approve and send. A quote goes out when you decide it goes out.
8. Pricing
Nexap is free: all features are available at no cost, with no document or client limits, and the app offers no in-app purchase.
A paid plan may be introduced later. It will be announced in the app, with its price and conditions, before taking effect. No charge can occur without an express subscription on your part. Should that happen, the subscription would be taken out and managed through the App Store, and cancellable from your Apple account settings.
9. Availability and changes
The publisher takes reasonable steps to ensure availability, without guaranteeing the complete absence of interruption: maintenance, technical incidents, third-party dependencies. Features may change, appear or be withdrawn from one version to the next.
The app works offline: a network outage, or an outage of the service itself, does not stop you working or consulting your documents.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the publisher cannot be held liable for indirect damage resulting from the use of the service or the inability to use it: loss of business, loss of revenue, commercial harm.
Nothing in these terms sets aside the applicable mandatory legal warranties.
11. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time from the app (Profile → Privacy → Delete my account). The publisher may suspend an account in the event of a serious breach of these terms, after informing you unless there is urgency.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first: write to support@nexap.fr, we try to settle before anything else. Failing that, the French courts shall have jurisdiction.
13. Contact
For any question: support@nexap.fr or the support form.
