The calculation
Net quote revenue, minus what you PAY: materials, rental, subcontracting, your labour, your travel. VAT doesn't enter the margin.
Your hourly rate
Set it in Profile → My pay. Without it your time is worth zero and every job looks more profitable than it is.
Travel
Cost per km × round trip × days on site. On a distant job, rarely negligible.
